CIPET invites application from bright, dynamic and highly motivated Indian Nationals possessing excellent academic background for the following Technical & Non-Technical positions :
1. Officer (Technical) / Lecturer [Tool Room / CAD / CAM / Processing / Testing / R&D]
Pay Band: PB-3 Rs.15600 - 39100 (revised) Grade Pay : Rs.5400/-
Age Limit : 30 years as on 05.03.2010
Essential Qualification:
Fresh Ph.Ds in Engineering/Material Science or in the relevant field of Polymer / Plastics Technology with exposure in the following areas preferred, namely:-
* Teaching/Research experience in Academic Institutions of repute is preferred.
* Adequate teaching & research experience in the field of Plastics Engineering & Technology, having established reputation and significant contribution to knowledge.
* Experience in procuring and delivering the results in social/industrial training and research project including liaison with Govt. agencies.
* Exposure to quality including Laboratory/Shop Floor Management and relevant qualification in the field would have additional advantage.
* The Candidate should have first class atleast in Graduate and Post Graduate level.
* Adequate teaching & research experience in the field of Plastics Engineering & Technology, having established reputation and significant contribution to knowledge.
* Experience in procuring and delivering the results in social/industrial training and research project including liaison with Govt. agencies.
* Exposure to quality including Laboratory/Shop Floor Management and relevant qualification in the field would have additional advantage.

2. Graduate Engineer Trainees
Age Limit : 28 years as on 05.03.2010
Essential Qualification :
2 years Full time M.E, / M.Tech. in Engineering / Material Science or in the relevant field of Polymer / Plastics Technology. The Candidate should have first class in Graduate and Post Graduate level.
Note : During the initial training period of one year, they shall be paid a consolidated stipend of Rs.12000/- per month. After successful completion of training period, they shall be placed on contract for one year in the pay band 15600 – 39100 (Basic+GP+DA). On successful completion of the contract period, they shall be placed in the regular scale (Basic+GP+DA+Allowances) of pay.
3. Technician Trainees
Age Limit : 26 years as on 05.03.2010
Essential Qualification :
Diploma in Mech./Polymer/Plastic Technology or equivalent / PG Diploma in Tool / Die / CAD/CAM/CAE (Knowledge of Hardware & Networking, Operating Systems & Languages)/ Computer Science/ Graduate with PG Diploma in Processing / Testing
Note : During the initial training period of one year, they shall be paid a consolidated stipend of Rs.6000/- per month. After successful completion of training period, they shall be placed on contract for one year in the pay band 5200 – 20200 (Basic+GP+DA).
