Job Description:

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB:

To ensure statutory compliances with respect to labor laws.

KEY ACTIVITIES:

• Fulfill and monitor statutory compliances under labor laws like PF/ESIC/Contract labor Act/Factories Act/

• Maintain MIS report and report to mgmt.

• Identify non compliance areas and plan to comply with the same

• Sensitize contractors on Tata Values and importance of adherence to statues under labor laws in Tata Steel

• Liaison with govt authorities, regional offices and societies

• Liaison with labor advocates to get legal opinion on critical matters.

END RESULTS:

100% compliance to all statutes pertaining to labor laws

Maintain harmonious relation with govt labor officials

Desired Profile:

Masters Degree in Personnel Management/HR with atleast 5 years experience in a manufacturing concern.

Functional Skills: Well versed in labor laws, knowledge of statutory clearances, working knowledge of MS Office.

Behavioral Skills- Effective communication, team work, knowledge of local language will be an added advantage.
